MIS Key Area is getting to work

After a great deal of preparation, the Key Area ‘MIS – Multilingualism and Intercultural Studies’ began its work on 1 June 2014. Some of its first tasks include establishing a platform for exchange between all members involved, elaborating a strategic line of development and reaching mutual understanding regarding organisational questions. Dieter Heimböckel is coordinating the Key Area as acting spokesperson.

Student staff member hired

Edwina von der Wense has been working for the Key Area since June 2014. She is studying European cultures (specialising in history) at the University of Luxembourg and supporting MIS’s development work. This includes preparing for a comprehensive benchmark analysis and completing to associated data collection activities.
